REVIEW
Monster Lair is a
shooting game and has some elements of the original Wonder
Boy game. In this game you must retrieve the Legendary
equipment from the monster who stole it.
The screen scrolls
automatically to the right. Each level consists of 2 parts.
In the first part you can jump and walk and in the second
part you ride on a dragon and have to battle a boss.
The game has 9 levels.
Just like the original game you
have to get fruit and other kinds of food to stay healthy.
You can shoot bullets with your sword. During the game you
can get other weapons too, but they will only last for a
short time.
The game has a nice 2 player
option. Player one controls Wonder Boy and the other player
a girl with a magic rod. You're also allowed to change the
difficulty level at the option screen and listen to the
music tracks.
